Course overview
What do you really want students to understand and do? Our learning goals are the 'Big Scientific Ideas'. These are the concepts and skills from the National Curriculum and Strategy Framework. Below sets out our 11-14 science programme for understanding and motivation. Years 7 and 8 introduce all the Big Ideas. Some are in constant use across the units, while others are further developed in Year 9.
