What will you get?
The price is for the complete Year 7 planning, teaching and assessment pack. You are buying the 6 units as a one-off purchase – it is not a subscription. To enable you to start teaching upd8 wikid in September 2008, the first 3 units (Forensics, Extinction and Cook!) are available now and the remaining three Year 7 units by 19 December 2008.
What will future years cost?
We anticipate the cost of the year 8 course will be similar to year 7. The first units will be published in summer term 2009 (see course brochure for publication dates)
How will you access the units?
As soon as payment is received, a designated lead teacher in your school will receive an activation email and password to access Forensics, and the other units, as soon as they are published. We can only give access on proof of payment. From the end of 2008 other teachers in the school will have access to the upd8 wikid community, to access updated materials, online resources, discussion and support.

Why is the whole course not available now?
Because we began development once the National Strategy Framework was clear, in late 2007. Wikid is now being rolled out gradually so we can incorporate assessment changes. Trialling is also a vital part of our process to ensure the materials are of the highest quality, and 150+ schools have trialled the first three units already.
